Dr. Carmen White

President & CEO

For over 20 years, renowned motivational speaker, author, leadership coach, drama therapist, and business consultant Dr. Carmen White has helped individuals and organizations unlock their full potential. As co-founder and CEO of Dramatic Solutions Inc., she leads professional development consultation and training work aligned with local, regional, and national standards.

Dr. White has provided governmental agencies, educational institutions, human services providers, non-profit organizations, and corporations with customized training designed to improve performance and morale. She uses educational drama techniques to promote cross-cultural learning and to help participants build solid connections integral to cognition, empowerment, and self-efficacy.

She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and Human Development from the University of Maryland, College Park; an M.A. in Educational Leadership from New York University; and a B.A. in Educational Drama from New York University. She is a certified PCM® Trainer and Board Certified-Registered Drama Therapist.

A leading authority on drama-based training, self-efficacy, and experiential learning, Dr. White coaches organizations on how to invent their future. Passionate about helping culturally diverse teams reach their full potential, she guides managers and staff in achieving collective success. Her motto: “Where there is no vision, the people perish.”

Dr. Lennie Smith

Chief Operating Officer

Lennie Smith, Ed.D., is the COO of Dramatic Solutions Inc. He is a certified PCM® trainer, drama therapist, and educational and communications consultant. His background includes a B.A. in Educational Leadership and an M.A. in Culture and Interpersonal Communications, both from New York University, and a doctorate in Education from Morgan State University.

With over 20 years of professional experience as a training specialist, Dr. Smith has worked with youth and adults in conflict management, team building, diversity, classroom management, and other trainings that foster personal, educational, and organizational growth. Known for his interactive approach, he delivers workshops that both entertain and empower.

He is the author of “50 Dramatic Engagers for Learning and Performance” and has designed developmental workshops such as “Building a Winning Team,” “The 5 Keys to Diversity,” and “Serving Your Customer—Meeting Their Needs.”

In addition to his leadership at Dramatic Solutions Inc., Dr. Smith serves as an adjunct professor at the University of the District of Columbia, continuing his commitment to education and professional development.
