Self-Care, Self-Preservation and Whole School Culture and Climate

OSSE, in partnership with Dramatic Solutions, will host a dynamic and interactive training that increases self-care, self-preservation and building school culture and climate through drama strategies. Our hands-on, drama-based training approach work with administrators and staff to combat compassion fatigue through interactive strategies. Administrators will be equipped with the skills necessary to develop self and improve their personal life energies in order to function creatively and comfortably in their school setting. The session is designed to boost overall school climate and culture and help assure school productivity and positive change. Participants will be able to identify obstacles that can hinder climate progression and stunt growth and in turn, learn the practical skills needed to put their best foot forward and create a positive learning environment.

Participants will be offered two professional learning units (PLUs) for full participation and may also be eligible for follow-up technical assistance.
